Jewels to fit every taste and budget
Austinite Kevin Heady has been designing jewelry
for more than 25 years, and three years ago he left behind his career in
wholesale fashion to pursue it full time. His pieces are handmade from
semiprecious and precious stones, pearls, gold and silver, with prices from $40
to $5,000, a remarkable range. Heady's jewelry is
sold at Eliza Page and online at www.kevinheady.com. A new collection will be featured
in the University Co-Op's next luxury catalog. His chunky, opaque beaded
necklaces are particularly current for the fall season. And when you purchase
something from his Pink Percent collection, 20 percent of the price will be
donated to the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin.
